Getting Access

Science IT provides three computing services: ScienceCloud, ScienceCluster and Supercomputer. Access to these services is available for all researchers at UZH.

Who can get access?

You need to be affiliated with a UZH research group that has a Science IT Project, and your user must have an an Active Directory (AD) account in the ITIM Identity Manager.

Don't have a project?

To get started, you must first have an Science IT Computing Services agreement in place. Contact Science IT to learn more.

Can't access?

Most computing services require a connection from the internal network. If you are off-campus, this means using the UZH VPN. If you still cannot connect while on the VPN, please check with your institute’s IT Coordinator to ensure that you have the correct network profile and Active Directory (AD) account.
